our Location
Ash restaurant sits adjacent to, and is part of, the famous and much loved Royal Highland Hotel in the very heart of Inverness city, capital of the Highlands of Scotland. Formerly the great Station Hotel, the hotel sits adjacent to Inverness Railway Station in station Square – meaning that taxi and cab transport to and from the restaurant is never a problem, whatever the time of day or night. 5 minutes from Inverness coach/bus station too.
Ash has its own dedicated entrance facing on to the Square and to Academy Street, or can be entered from inside the hotel itself, giving you the opportunity to witness the great Grand Staircase and reception Lobby of the great hotel.
And it is so easy to get to Inverness.
There are 6 daily flights, a daily train service and a daily over night sleeper service form London and the south, a host of regular daily rail services linking Inverness to the North Highlands, the North West highlands via the North West Highland line to Kyle, and all the major Scottish cities and towns south and east, a selection of flights to Edinburgh, Glasgow, Shetland, Stornoway, Bristol, Belfast and the midlands and south of England – and an excellent road network from all parts of the British mainland and throughout the highlands.
